Work in progress:
24" x 24" sepia toned underpainting. This "Treescapes" series will include 4-5 similar paintings of the same size. The paintings are inspired by the 9000 acre Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve in Riverside County, California where I painted on location in June. I was especially moved by the interesting century year old oak trees depicted in these paintings.
